Dr. Susan Burgin has owned Cherry Valley Animal Clinic since 1993. She launched Licking County Urgent Pet Care in 2006 to better serve the urgent care needs in the Newark area.
Judy is a veterinary assistant who has been on staff several years. In addition to patient care, and client education, she helps us manage our inventory of pet medications. Judy is very knowledgeable and can help clients with many questions or problems.
Angie is an assistant who is currently working towards certification as a veterinary technician. She has many years of experience with patient care, client education and takes a special interest in dental health.
Amy is our receptionist, with a number of duties including being responsible for greeting clients, answering questions, and making sure our clients' needs are
met. We take great pride at Cherry Valley Animal Clinic in being friendly, organized, and efficient, and our receptionist excels in those areas.
We are excited to have a groomer on staff! Kathy is doing an excellent job making pets look beautiful. She is very patient and gentle, and takes the time to find out what look owners want for their pets. Night grooming and Saturdays now available.
We have several veterinary assistants. Our hardworking assistants do many, many tasks such as setting up test samples, and client education.
Our kennel attendants take great care of our many boarding guests. Barb is our pet resort supervisor. She has gotten to know our boarders over the years and goes to great lengths to make sure their individual needs are met.
We are pleased to have added a certified trainer to our staff. She is a graduate of National K9 certified in behavior and obedience training. We offer puppy preschool, private lessons, residency programs, and at home lessons.
